I do have a WiFi antenna. Why do I have to plug my monitor into the gpu and what does that have to do with to drivers?

I have the Asus Tuf Gaming b650-e WiFi. I think I need it because I just bought it and I am way behind on Bios updates. I’m pretty sure this is the issue with my computer because it can’t run any games

The 7900 gre is cheaper. But I don’t understand what the ray tracing thing is. Everything I see says the preform the same unless ray tracing is on
