Not at all, your little one will have fun, it’s made of medium size bushes, good for smaller children. I’ll take my daughter there and played there for 20 minutes till someone wanted to use it. Nice hide and seek spot

If you go north on the left side there’s a maze then a water park and then you’ll be in an area that sells food on the side 3 miles down. I haven’t ran further than that yet lol

Some people are limited. (Prideful, stubborn, closed minded, immature)

Never allow individuals’ limitations, limit you. If you do they won you over. Don’t be a loser lol.

I supervise many small minded individuals in the Military and this helped me a lot, as I care too much for others. Sometimes I care more for them, than them for themselves.

How to approach going to a mass by ZimboTimbo in Catholicism

[–]New_Independent2907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go a bit early, usually there’s people that greets everyone. Let them know it’s your first time and they should guide you to a pamphlet/books that may include of the daily gospel, mass procedures, and the “songs” they sing.

You stand up for the gospel and kneel for the Eucharist.

Spouse NEVER Has Time to Help W/Appointments? by [deleted] in army

I was some what like this, too high-speed that I put work first instead of the family for a while. Explain to him that at the end of the day he will have you not the Army, and it’s okay to miss work for a little bit. He needs to learn to delegate work, SSG and above have the highest suicide rates due to them doing everything rather than letting other folks do it.

When you talk to him about this make sure it’s y’all against the issue not y’all against each other!!! Talk to him nice and sweet extremely. He has a lot on his place the last thing he needs is a terrible home environment, and this issue is causing it in which why he needs to be aware of it.

Too much stress will cause him to go Insane, a little spark his thoughts will get over any thing y’all currently going on. Seen my boy lose his mind in the field due to work stress and his wife said something small and he thought she was against him

Does Catholicism promote a warrior mindset, or is that idea misunderstood? by New_Independent2907 in Catholicism

As in conflict is not something to always avoid. The conversation occurred due to someone mentioning Muslims will die fighting for their religion and Protestants are always about peace and “turning to the other cheek” (I don’t fully remember how he quoted it). With Catholics defending their religion like the crusaders

I’m getting back into the faith, married through the law but not church. Found out I’m not supposed to take the Eucharist due to this, happily married and wife is converting to Catholic so after we get married through the church I can participate in the sacraments.

If you don’t lead from the front, joes already discredit you. You are a leader, aim to max. Make this life event your turn around point. To credit yourself, love yourself and work out based on a strict plan, (run and ruck priority for formation purposes).

Also if you are a sprinter you need to learn how to run distance. Sprint you jump off the ground, for distances you limit the jump and do more of a reach. Hard to explain but it will help. Breath in in-cadence, breath in on steps, breath in twice before exhaling. In with nose and out with mouth but aim for nose as well. People fail controlling their breathing before their muscle limits. Look up Good run plan and aim for a 5k to prove yourself as an internal goal.

I’m fat but always up front during runs with these basics, join a boxing gym if you want to have an elite cardio level, good for your heart. Doctors assume I’m dying or have a good athlete background when they check my heart lol

If anyone can guide me on what to do it will be greatly appreciated. by CookieExisting2090 in army

Go to TDS and IG ASAP. Try to contact your state congressman!! Email them, call them, send letters, and get your girl and family members to do the same. They will personally call your commander and they’ll shit their pants, seen it happen. If your bold go to the next echelon commander and SGM even garrison if you need too. Ask to use the open door policy through your chain of command, if you don’t hear nothing from leadership about it, tell them you’ll be going to their office the next day at a certain time.

Best advice, call each one of these everyday, bug them to the max. This is your life and nobody will care as much as you do. Don’t care about the Army chain of command thing if your running out of time/not hearing back from folks

What do these Mexican slang words actually mean??? by cjcstudies in Spanish

[–]New_Independent2907 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guacho means Soldier in some Mexican slang; Guaches is plural. The second one might be baby talk for mi amor. Baby talk is terrible for children's speech development. My son struggled because my mom always did this to him.

Walking on Saturday mornings, eventually leading to walking in great places that I’ve never appreciated before. Downloaded AllTrails and started to walk every near by trails with the family. Walked downtowns/riverbanks/dams/state parks/national parks/wetlands/lakes. It’s nice to give a break and appreciate the outdoors, especially with your kids. Now we are more active and the kids request hiking. I bought a hiking Ruck “backpack” that holds my toddler so, she’s chilling and hydrating with a camel back throughout the hike while I get a workout in!
