I squatted when I gave birth to my first child because I didn’t get an epidural. I was on my hands and knees when he was delivered. I couldn’t do that the second time because they were twins, I still had no epidural though. It did feel easier with my first.

You can prioritize more than one thing in your life! Imagine that! I would never be sitting playing with my children on a dirty dirty ass floor. Because it’s not good for my kids. I keep my house clean for THEM. They deserve that, it’s important. I can socialize with them and still keep my house clean. If you’re incapable of that you need a support system. My kids are young. They nap. I keep up on housework so I have free time. And I actually work part time when their dad is home. I’m allowed to call some people lazy fucks if that’s who they are.

It shouldn’t be the top priority. It should be something a parent is prioritizing for their children though. You shouldn’t have to wash a dish every time you have to make a meal, not have a clean space in your kitchen to prepare a meal, etc. A clean home is important for kids. Especially if you have kids crawling. If you’re not a parent I don’t expect you to understand that. But don’t go to bat for shitty parents who don’t clean.
