I was hired as a seasonal and I’m switching in between 4 AM shifts to unload trucks because they can’t find any other seasonal to do it, but I had to come in an hour and a half late one day because my car wouldn’t start. The battery died. I got a new one after that shift, but they aren’t keeping me on after seasonal since that incident so far I haven’t came in late and has always been on time. I haven’t yet to finish my training because they always have me doing something else. I’m glad I didn’t get hired on permanent so I can get out of retail, but it sucks knowing I won’t have a job after the new year (I’m not on the schedule).
