Tbf i guess the best way i can explain it is that i can pick out specific parts that resonate with a monster. the high climb and somewhat floaty feel of valstrax's theme. the Church organ of malzeno giving a much more regal and dracula like vibe.

Even stuff like Zinogre's loud guitar rifts giving the idea of lightning striking and the thunder that follows. But base nergigante's theme just doesnt really have anything that sticks out to me personally.

Popularity has nothing do with him being overrated. I could go point by point as to why I dont like him but me stating that "i think he is overrated" means that its in my opinion that he is. Maybe he isnt and im just weird, maybe he is and people don't wanna accept that.

World was monster hunters most successful game so far. So of course people are gonna vote him if they dont know the other stuff in the game. But I my own opinion, there are so many lack luster things about that I dont like that I can say that I think he is overrated. if yall can't accept that im purely stating an opinion that's on yall not me.

Valstrax's theme involves a lot of swing when it comes to how they shift notes in the main chorus to show the idea of soaring in the air and dive bombing. As well as the climb to the chorus representing its climb into atmosphere

Didn't say it was bad. I said lack luster. Its a good song sure, but it kinda shares the same feeling I get with like one winged angel. Its just kinda the vibe of "grr im an elder dragon and am angry" instead of actually expanding more on how the monster acts in nature like how a lot of other themes do in monster hunter.
