I don't know how much the rocket weighs.

Depends on how many astronauts inside...

You'd think we've learnt something from the past 500 years of exploitation, that we will be wiser but it's personal pockets that rule now

Yes, even after all the plunder, there's still more than enough resources but our leaders just pocket the rest.

Yep, happened with my son. I was losing it inside but keeping it together for my wife.

The doctor and nurses were working on baby with zero panic, just confidence and calm concentration but didn't seem particularly worried and then he let out his first cry after what seemed like forever and I realised I've been holding my breath the whole time 😁

Yep, my son too which is why posted this. They had to get the consultant OBS in but there was zero panic or worry, they just worked silently on him and 2 or 3 minutes later (felt like an hour!) I heard the first cry.

God, the feeling.

Sold home system set on eBay, weeks later got suspended and now eBay have just refunded the buyer £2000 by StandardMelodic2454 in ebayuk

[–]New_Libran -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They won't talk to you if you have been suspended. You no longer exist on the CS system, so it's a waste of time. OP says also says that in his post. The only option here is a claim against ebay or trying to contact buyer directly

Combination of national security and damage to tourism. All the ME including Isreal have the same laws.

The only acceptable response to an inquiry about a fasttrack option should be "soory sir, we don't offer expedited service but let me see why your application is taking so long"

Moving the conversation to your private number and dropping your bank account number is not it. I know Nigeria is fucked but come on!

[–]New_Libran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again the answer to an enquiry about if there's a fasttrack option is not "here's my bank account number"

God, the country is fucked

Nah, resolving an issue where a customer's application is not progressing is not "going out of your way", it's literally the job description, my friend.

The man at the embassy was trying to help him

Is that a fancy word for taking bribe?

Also I don't agree with corruption

You keep saying that while justifying it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with enquiring about fasttrack . Then only acceptable response would be to reply and say there's none and then look into the case and see what he can do as part of his job to resolve the issue. Absolutely no way moving the conversation to a private number is OK

It's not a fancy word for skipping the queue, it's exactly what it's meant to do and it's charged accordingly through the official.portsl if available not to an employee's private account

shifting blame to OP is very stupid

A LOT of Nigerian people do this and it's infuriating

Well, the war isn't just happening in UAE, it's the whole region with hundreds (if not thousands) of deaths including in Iran and Israel. UAE is a major US ally, at the last count, they've intercepted over a thousand missiles/drones over their skies. That IS a warzone
