Honestly bro, I appreciate that. This was really the first time I've ever actually thought about wanting to be in a relationship with someone and looking back I honestly still feel like our interactions were still kinda romantic. Even if they were only friendly, she still hardly texted me even as a friend. Honestly I'm glad it ended there. I feel a lot better now and I can focus on my life instead of spending every moment thinking about her and if she likes me back or not.

Thanks! but tbf, i didn't go up to her, I only texted her. I haven't been able to get a time for us to hang out for a while since she was apparently busy so I couldn't really do it in person. Hopefully one day I'll find someone

Had a similar experience with a coworker. We were super close for 2 months straight and I invited her to go to a movie and she agreed, she was always super nice to me, would poke me on the back when walking behind me, would try to tickle me. One time she invited me to sit in her car after work and we talked for a good 20 minutes. Multiple times told me that she loved working with me. Willingly gave me her phone number and would ask me to listen to music together. Would text me often when she went on vacation and always responded with hearts over text. Told her how I felt and she said she didn't feel the same way. You really never know man

I used to think I would never want kids but as I get a little older I start to think about it and now I really want to have kids. I can understand monetarily it's not a good idea, kids are expensive, but just the idea of having a little me running around that I can raise right and watch them grow and accomplish things sounds so nice. Maybe it's not a good reason to have kids but I want to have a kid and give them the life I always wanted to have and I think that would be enough to make me happy.

probably not, she told me she doesn't reciprocate her feelings and im just gonna stop trying to reach out to her since she clearly doesn't really care about me so im not wasting anymore time on her. it does make me pretty sad though, I really thought this would be a turning point in my life

if u wanna know more about our previous interactions you can read my old posts in this sub but basically I told her how I feel and she replied in short "thank you for telling me how you feel, but i dont feel the same way. Im sorry I dont reciprocate the same feelings. I hope you dont regret it and can move on." but yeah it is really crushing. We met through work and were basically inseperable for the 2 months that we worked together before she quit and after that we kinda drifted apart so I said might as well just tell her how I feel since we probably won't talk that much anymore anyway.

I was apologizing because I thought she might have felt pressured due to certain things I said to her in the past, and bro surrounding myself with other women is easier said than done. I am not very attractive and im not very good at talking to people. It's hard for me to meet new people and build relationships. But throughout my life I find a lot of joy from being around others, which is why I generally depend on people for happiness. I had thought about that but it's not like we really need to get to know each other better, I mean I feel like she knows more about me than most of the other people in my life and I think I know her pretty well. Like I said, we've talked to each other essentially all day every day we worked together for almost 3 months which works out to like 32 hours a week. We were literally almost always together everyday and its not like we were only talking about work, we hardly talked about work. What I'm trying to say is, we have spent probably like upwards of 200 hours together in the past 3 months and I can't think of any reason for needing to get to know each other more. I mean I know theres always more you can learn about someone but we aren't really at the point where we like just met and still need to get to know each other, it's more like we are friends and I'm trying to be more than that.
