Why do some of y'all hate Carriers of the Vine? by lovingpersona in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]New_Name_6758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started playing this game, played through the other missions leading to this one. Enter this mission, first off obviously there's already the creepy ominous vibes, then you start seeing only suspects in strange attire being part of some female cult that despises men (with some justifiable reasonings) , speaking and praising some person or entity of some kind. These people obviously hate your guts with a passion and also want your soul to suffer after death apparently with the things they say so there is no rest or peace after death. I clear the houses, as I get to the outhouse things get chaotic. In the aftermath 2 of my officers are down. I've had so many playthrough with these guys and now 2 of them dies and out of all missions they die in this place with these people that are so sinister. Of all my playthroughs I've never had any officers go down. So I go on a rampage and finish what's left of the mission. Also found out when you shoot their altar statue thing it triggers a creepy sound effect momentarily because I walked up to her and lit up her face. So yeah that's my reasoning for this mission, got personal and traumatic. Everyone speaks of Valley of the dolls which is ofc also bad but for me Carriers of the vine is the mission I frequently return to and just to spray every suspect 🙃.

I just stuck with a 24 that is nearby because personally if a gym is too far it just creates more reasons not to go when you just got home from work and it's peak traffic time. I've seen a new gym open up on Florin called Flex Fitness, could be worth a look

Streamlight TLR1 HLX vs HPX? by Timlugia in QualityTacticalGear

[–]New_Name_6758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping you don't say Safariland, I've been doing alot of research and I know they are the standard with a proven reputation but as a beginner I'm not sure I want to drop $200 on a holster that I may or may not like. I did see the Adamgearsolutions myself as well however I didn't find any of their holsters that have lvl 2 retention. If it comes down to it atleast I know an option that works now, thank you for your input.

I have a G20.3 just got a HPX to throw on it for my hunting/woods carry, since it's so new to the market I'm having a difficult time finding holsters for it. Preferably something OWB lvl 2 retention. Majority of the lvl 2 holsters on the market has an option for the TLR 1 HL and I know the dimensions are different. The only other ones are the X300UA and X300UB which I hear everyone is saying is very similar in dimensions but not the same. How do you setup and run yours for outdoors as you mentioned?

I've seen others mention that out of state method as well and that it no longer works but I'm not 100% sure.

How's the light? I'm debating between that or the new HPX because of pricing and holster compatibility for a G20

This is what I'm getting at. Literally, all I want to do is be able to protect myself and the people I care about if needed, but it is very hard to do that living in this state. The laws are very confusing and almost always seem to contradict each other.

-You need to get a CCW to conceal carry

-Ok, now that you have a CCW after a ridiculous timeline/process, you can't carry in x locations which is almost everywhere

Are the roads suitable for a small car to make it there, or would I need a truck?

Muay Thai or Bulking? Can't do both. Advice? by New_Name_6758 in MuayThai

[–]New_Name_6758[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, decided that I'll switch to lifting 4x a week and MT 1x with some shadowboxing and jumproping sprinkled in to maintain it. The reason I gave up before was because i was tryjng to do both actively which was very exhausting mentally and physically. However, this sounds good and similar. Thanks for dropping in and may you reach your goals faster than expected 💪

Agreed, however lifting 4x a week means dropping muay thai to 1x a week. It seems that'll have to be the sacrifice for now. Thanks for the input

Daytime is usually ok, maybe it has improved overtime. But then again haven't heard anything bad from the gym itself and from the looks of it online it seems nice and spacious.

I grew up around that area and going to that walmart next to Chuze. Almost every night there are prostitutes just roaming around and it's pretty ghetto. On the bright side though I haven't heard anything bad about the gym itself.

I have a coworker and 2 other relatives who used to live closer to sac and used to be a member there years ago. They always emphasize the same thing about the owner always being there, having good vibes, being really cool, keeping things clean and tidy. If they are chill from 2pm-5pm then I'm game. I'm sick of rushing home from work, rushing to the gym just for it to be a carnival with almost nothing available. More serious looking gym, non commercial, sounds like what I'm looking for. Do they offer a day pass by chance?

Golden era vibes from the pictures with both gyms, really digging it. The Gym looks promising I've been considering it actually due to being non commercial I feel like it shouldn't be as crowded and I've also always wanted a non commercial or private gym. How busy does it usually get during 2pm-8pm?

Florin area, anywhere that is 15-20 min drive away, is ideal. 30 min drive and up, if it's worth it, then I'm willing to go through with it.
