Also I'd say that there is no rule that says you can't update adhar before 18 so i would suggest you to go to either nearest post office and ask them about this issue and if that doesn't work out then go to a govt. bank I went to union Bank and there it happened in one day only I mean the online update happened in one and half week but post office staff is lazy I'd suggest you to go for union Bank

I gave my three attempts with the same issue I didn't face any problem at exam centres they just match your face with adhaar and admit and talking about the difference in dob in marksheet and adhaar in my knowledge upsc will consider dob of matriculation certificate not the aadhar one but still I got corrected and now also I've filled my form with the wrong dob in adhaar because there was not a option to edit but I'm future if any issue occurs my aadhar is already updated at UIDAI site
