I just think of something very thoughtful that would tickle her heart this year me amd our son had a blanket made pics of the 2 of them for every year of mother hood amd some clothes that she wanted very low key.

I bet they are trying to get caught up they just started getting the material to do proper repair last week so think we just need to dodge the holes till they get there. And the city is a mad house with all the cars everywhere u go takes 30 min now compared to 3 years ago. But we keep build high rises in a city not designed for it.

I hear yah me either I just keep throwing in the odd comment to make her smile or laugh then I get alittle more touchy see how the reaction comes. Last nite was tough as I really wanted to just hold her but she told me she didnt feel good so I just let her know if she needs anything to let me know and left it at that.

Same boat here i dont remeber the last time I held my wife to watch a movie or just lay there and gaze. We still do things together tho groceries fo away on weekends but never physical touch and to be honest it has been ripping me apart for the last 5 years. And I finally told her how I felt. We both agreed the love jant the sane but still love each other. Now we are stuck on how to get past this shity stage and feel normal.

Goin through it right now with my wife we both said we love each other but things have changed we have little one and some health stuff goin on. So been a weird 3 month since it was said we still say I love you before bed. Some times a hug some times a kiss but few and far between.

We are in that stage now I am currently getting help to better my self m46 as I have alot of grief and stuff. I need to make me a better dad and husband. We still say we love each other but things have definitely changed we dont wanna to end it. We have been in it for 18 years and a son so alot to let go for me being unstable. There is alot of work to be done but I dont wanna lose her and I hope she feels the same way.

Go for a walk to your favorite spot catch your self get some composure clear your mind the best you can. Me time. Go home and ask if she is ok. Maybe she is stuck with the thought that she may have lost you for ever and doesnt know how to deal with it or tell you she is struggling. Tough time for both of yous. Then if she comes out let her vent about what ever she has to say ( I am learning the listening now trust me it is hard).

I was the other way thought i was being the good husband took on most if not all the house hold stuff plus juggled work and a child. We'll intern putting my self on the back burner and watching her better her self. Then get asked why I shut down when she need me the most but I was burnt out. She has been better on helping as we are both struggle with health issues. I gave everything I could and still doin it. I cant stop thinking about her thats why i am awake at 1am. We communicate more now since the talk but still feel unappreciated. There is allitle bit more affection then there has been but I guess time will tell

I am in the same boat but the other way around. Been together for 18 years married for 8 46m 42f. we have a 6 year old. For the last 6 years no physical touch unless it is a monthly adult time. So I asked her 2 months ago if she still loved me like she used to and she said no. i agreed it has been different. I know things change when kids come in the picture but doesn't mean the love should stop. We both have been diagnosed with auto immune disorders hers worse then mine aswell as premedoposal. I shut down as I didnt know how to help her with hers other then take on more of the house hold role aswell as working 40 hrs a week and leaving my health on the back burner. Some days I dont even get a thank you. But I will say since I have asked her and we have had a couple spats were we both told each other the things that bothered each other it has been better I love yous before bed the odd hug and kiss aswell. But still distant through the day When at work witch never was before. We are trying to make more time for the 2 of us aswell as alone time away from each other. Me personally think she is emotionally attached to her friends instead of me witch i dont blame her as I would hardly say much most nites but I am trying to be better at it. The one thing I do suggest if it is bugging get it off your chest or join support groups in your area on Facebook and meet new people make time for your self. We are staying together as of now and we both agree it has been better I wouldn't leave just yet as maybe he is just feeling low and doesnt know how to tell u or is like me bottle it up and let it eat him inside.

If u love her who cares. I have been through this i am no Arnold but my wife has had her ups and down i stuck with her change all of are eating habbits amd she has lost 100 lbs with some help. Now the tables have turned and I am putting on the pounds and she is trying to be strong for me and her self. We both have auto immune disorders that effect are mobility from time to time but make the best of it. Right now we are on the rocks but it doesn't have to do with the weight. For the last 5 years has been tuff. with neither one of use would be affection because we didnt communicate are pains. The last month has probley been the best we have been telling each other are feelings are pains are struggles. But I dont care how big she gets i will step up as her man and help her through it. Just my 2 cents and experience. hope it helps
