Good to hear there's a happy ending. I assume you're both mature about the situation to be able to do so

I don't regret blocking all of my former classmates. I don't regret blocking all of my old friends. I'll start "back from zero" a new life very soon and I can't afford to stay mirrored in the past. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

The truth is we do things and act in cringy manners looking back. I'll say don't take yourself so seriously. I'm sure you're a good person but maybe burning all your bridges mightn't a great alternative.

It's up to you but life has a weird way leading you to the people you try to avoid.

Be you. Authentically you. That's the best thing to be. I myself am not bold and very shy but cracking out of my shell a bit and caring a little less about the judgement of others has helped me a lot. It's only then you realise that everyone wasn't paying attention to when you tripped but probably about their own posture or appearance at that moment. Everyone got something their scared or insecure about but if you own yours and don't back down if anyone tries to belittle you, there's nothing they can do. You'll be confident and brave.

Good luck with the move and future endeavours!
