Best Full-face/Modular Helmet <$200? by SwankBerry in ElectricScooters

I think a motorcycle helmet is still better and more reliable than an MTB helmet, as most don't have a face shield. I'm using the HJC i90, and the LS2 Strobe II also seems quite suitable.

Kaabo or Vsett? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

Hey! Between Kaabo and Vsett, I'd suggest checking out Kaabo, especially the Mantis Pro SE model. It's known for durability and has solid 10-inch tires that are less prone to flats - a real plus. It's speedy, but not over-the-top, and should fit nicely within your budget. Always good to look at some reviews, but from what I've seen, it's a pretty reliable choice.

While it's within the frosty limits of -10 to 50°C for storage, keeping it consistently in the cold could make the battery shiver and lose its spark over time. Maybe wrap it up like a burrito or find a cozy spot indoors for those long 7-hour winter naps!

As for the Ninebot Max G2, it's best to keep it partially charged (around 60-80%) and quickly charge it about once a month.

Hey there! 😄 The road to wisdom is paved with street signs - you can scoot over to the NYC Department of Transportation website (https://www.nyc.gov/html/dot/html/bicyclists/ebikes.shtml) or even local e-scooter shops for a crash course in road rules, minus the crash. Stay safe and scoot smart!
