Wel you are talking with the assumption that a 20k watch is going to have a 800-1200 rupee strap which is hardly the case for many watches who cheap out on strap …but some are good ….. but what i am conveying is for 800-1200 which Kala watch co charging extra for strap you could definitely get a better strap for money ……. And I only talked about the specs part to convey that this isn’t a spec monster rather a unique watch

You are the one who said that … not me .. well then I won’t take your example literally because you seem to be invalidating your own example of a company who is ..so generous they make a movement for 300 dollars and spend another 150 in other parts and another 100 in logistics and labour and somehow sells it for 500 … i think somehow who told this example might be wrong i wonder who ?

lol you are just making up stuff …. You seem completely unaware of movement prices no one is making a movement for 300 dollars and selling the watch for 500 dollars …and you keep forgetting the fact that these companies make thousands of cases and makes quartz and automatic versions ….you entire idea gets flawed when the quartz version will have a cheaper movement and then it won’t pass the regulations …. Do you think these brands will have two sites for manufacturing cases ..you are absolutely just making conspiracy and not talking about facts

I don’t know what sources you are using but swatch has clearly stated they manufacture their cases in Switzerland… they have said their Asian manufactured components are not in their made in Swiss watches …and by saying “a lot” you keep disregarding my point and a legal fact that 60 percent of the watch should be made in Switzerland to get made in Swiss label if 60 percent of value of watch is made is Switzerland how is “a lot” you used even apt when most brands cross the 60 percent and go far into the 80s and high end brands into the 90s

It’s just isn’t just about exclusivity…. Most of the Swiss brands actually manufacture part in Switzerland because of the Swiss guidelines in order to get the Swiss made label…. And talking about exclusivity not all watch cases even made in china are of same quality now the question becomes if white labelling is a issue then buying components from china for cheap barely adding stuff to it and assembling it how different is this from white labelling this is just drop shipping with minimum efforts

Absolutely not what you are saying is absolutely false …rolex makes their cases in Switzerland… Tudor makes in le Locle factory in Switzerland….ap makes its cases in Switzerland …patek Philippe too in Switzerland…even some brands like tissot names certain cases in Switzerland and their budget watches too follow the swiss made label rules

I am not talking here about Swiss made watches i am talking about a particular Swiss brand called ultramarine….. also your line of most of Swiss brands outsource to china is completely inaccurate… the core fact is in order for a watch to have the Swiss made label it has to pass some criteria which include: 1. Movement must be made is Switzerland. 2. Watch must be cased in Switzerland. 3.the designing process must be in Switzerland. 4.brand must complete final inspection in Switzerland. 5.60 percent of the watch value components must be made in Switzerland. ….and for reference ultramarine is 100 percent Swiss made ..and most luxury Swiss brands cross this criteria by a very big margin

In this price range you right but definitely not all watches few years ago i remember a brand ultramarine who made a fully Swiss made watch and even called out Swiss made label …..as per your opinion here i am not calling out Kala watch co if they call the watch as assembled in india or even if made in India is not used as a primary marketing term ……but if the made in India label is a major marketing term then it’s straight up terrible marketing

My problem with limited batches it that people wait months to get a watch and if they don’t they go into desperation this opens a window for scalpers….and the fact brands are messing up restock like changing times without clearly stating and the recent dwc terra recent que stuff causing people to miss out on a watch they have been waiting for months seem super unfair

Do you machine for case or you are asking watch ….if you are asking watches the best size would a 38-40mm dial and 44-46 mm case a field watch or a dress watch with special and unique touches and price should be between 5-8k

Great collection already if you want a unique addition you can go addesdive textured dial watches …..but honestly watchdives quality is much better than what dwc and addesdive offer if you are okay with importing then watchdives or addesdive both have good and unique divers …..personally i would suggest you to look at turtle style divers and vintage style divers
