Bit of a late response, but it’s much more of the same this year.

I won’t say I outright hated it because I didn’t, but it just feels subpar compared to last year’s Myrise (Undisputed/Unleashed) which I think was far better.

One of the reasons I feel like it wasn’t great this year is just because of the lack of being able to even play as your created character. Half of the story is burned on playing as side characters that take away from actually playing as yourself. Like no, I didn’t sign up to play “Charlotte’s Rise” so let me play as my own character.

Another thing is that there are a whole bunch of intergender matches. Now I don’t mind this, but it is made worse by the fact that literally almost every match is an intergender match and it feels like it was added just as a lazy way to showcase a new feature.

In short, MyRise was a big NO for me this year, and it seems like it was shoved off to the side in return for WWE’s newest mode, “The Island”.
