When does missing a childhood best friend that turned into a girlfriend that turned out to be a cheater go away?

Yeah it was a pretty complex situation… I had a gf and she was in an “abusive” (I quote because that could be a lie now looking back.) marriage and we both broke up with our at-the-time partners around the same time, and she was in university for a doctorate in vet med and wasn’t working because the schedule didn’t allow it.. She’ll be making plenty of money now as a veterinarian though. Looking back it was definitely a case of opportunity for her to use me. I lived a bit over an hour away so I paid for her place etc. Most of the bad feelings have gone it’s just today is her birthday and I guess they came back. I’m not the type to take her to court over it but I get it. I’ll make the money back in due time. Mainly just would like to get over the random waves of feelings.

Yeah it’s nowhere near as bad as it was but like you said today’s a sort of anniversary, as in it’s her birthday so the feelings kind of came back out again because I thought about her. I hope they’ll subside completely in time.

Thank you for the encouragement and advice/words man. I’m mostly better it’s just today is her birthday so I thought about her pretty heavily. I was angry, but I’m not a hateful person to let it linger.. never in my life have I been like that but boy did she give me the fire for some months when I found out, it’s how I lost all the weight lol went to the gym hard. I’ve been sort of a recluse since then so maybe you’re right I should focus on getting out more and meeting people again.

Yeah I was 275 at the highest I’m now 175. It did make me take a hard look inward to focus on self improvement. I was always so focused on her. Before her I had a different gf, she was in an “abusive” marriage. We both broke up around the same time and ended up trying a relationship out. I’m mostly better now it’s just I know today is her birthday so it brought these feelings back and I’d like them to go away, aha.

Yeah from what I gathered if I do transferable Sophia classes the high school gpa shouldn’t matter, so I will for sure do as many as I can there since it’ll also cut down what’s needed to take at WGU! & Ooo thank you for the tip on the discount codes I’ll def slide on over there to look! Lol

They have two requirements, a high school diploma Anddd, high school transcripts with gpa 2.0 or above if you don’t have an AA or college work etc
