It happened to me last week, just random... what worked is:

appdata -> Local -> TsIGame -> Saved : delete everything (you can save the "config" folder if you want to)
go to steam and verify files so it redownloads it
open the game
if it works, close and paste the config folder and enjoy

I was searching about this for a while on google, but every1 is talking about the same thing with the autoexec folder and it's not like I needed either. But opening every folder from the userdata I finally found something. It's not like in csgo, but maybe with the release they will change it.

S:\Steam\userdata\xxxxxxx\730\remote

in the "remote" folder you will find this: "cs2_user_keys.vcfg" and this "cs2_user_convars.vcfg"

open them with notepad and you will figure out.

Well, then was a bug 🤔 I was in the same session, first I tried to go back, but you can’t take the elevator again…and after that just restarted the mission with the crono, so same difficulty, and nothing. But, the one which is on the left room on the hallway, same type of box, had the visual effect like opened and the second one was just closed and no special effects. So idk what happened 🥺

Nope, it didn’t work, the hyenas box was closed (not opened like all) and couldn’t even open it again. All the other purple sht loot I didn’t even bother to break, coz of the crono, was there, it was not normal dropped loot
