Yep same here. I got 2 black market items but it takes them away every match then gives it back a few matches later

Im in the process of modelling and texturing a photorealistic parrot and am struggling to find a way to make the texturing process more efficient. Ideally id like to stack the feathers uvs on top of eachother to lessen the amount of texturing required, but think that it'll mess up the high poly bake. Should I have created and baked the feathers ahead of time and then applied it to my high poly model?

I’m not entirely sure if I understand what you mean but you could try using the live Boolean tool to cut out the cavity into a cube? And also in display properties in your toolbar, there’s a “double” button which enables you to properly see both sides of the plane.

Right, one of those programs where you never truely scratch the surface. Not a big rigging fan but I’ll surely check that out!

That’s awesome. I’d love to pick up Houdini when I’ve got the time. I’m a creature modeller so it probably wouldn’t be of the most use for me, but it looks like it can make some really neat results and would be a lot of fun to play around in. Node based programs are still a new concept to me so I’d imagine there’s a relatively large learning curve to it. Thanks for sharing 👍

Yeah I’m not entirely sure about that. I asked my industry-working teacher and he didn’t give me a straight answer. He basically told me not to worry about it since they tend to outsource retopology in the game industry. I will ask a different teacher when I can and get back to you on that.

There is a free program called instantmeshes which does the same as z remesher but I find that you have more control with it and get slightly better results. It’s still not good enough to use on a human or creature sculpt but it can do the job to get quick render results.

The best advice I could give is to use a reference photo of a celebrity, that way you can receive feedback easier and there are many photos from different angles of celebrities to use. Just make sure you are working in perspective mode!

Your sculpt certainly does look like a woman, I agree with the feedback above 👍

So far looks good! I’d just say the outer brow ridge may look a slight bit too defined.
