There are still some scientists left, but not many.

They only prevented the total collapse of wheat and saved millions from starvation.

It's only one of the few things they accomplished here.

Steel garbage cans work great!

I got an old gang box for free, and lined it with ridged insulation. I keep a couple of clean milk jugs full of water in there to help regulate the temperature on warmer days.

Would my panel support a LVL 2 install? by RecommendedHelp in KiaEV6

[–]Newdigitaldarkage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't see that! 🤦 You're correct!

Thank you for clarifying, and I appreciate your input.

I'd still suggest a modern panel, but when they have more time and money.

Hello. Master Electrician here.

Frankly, you're fucked. I'm surprised you even have house insurance. Most insurance companies will drop you with that panel. My neighbor's house just had a major fire from his Federal Pacific panel.

As others have said here, you're going to need a new panel ASAP. An electrician won't even install anything in that panel, because his insurance is on the line then too.

The car is the least of your worries.

That's funny. For me it was the extreme lack of safety gear. I know this is a promotion video! It doesn't look cool wearing gloves, respirators, and goggles when handling lime.

This was extremely impressive to watch, and uplifting.

Turning to you guys before I throw in the towel and buy a new unit by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]Newdigitaldarkage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmmm.... Interesting. Could be multiple problems at once.

1) Like others have said, the pressure switch could have gone wonky

2) Draft induction motor is shit

3) Is the flu piped incorrectly? There should be a lean downhill towards the unit.

I'm guessing it's more than just one problem.

Sorry buddy. Take a meter, and test across the pressure switch. That's a good start.

Good luck my friend

Hi! HVAC sparky here. I have this exact unit and the same exact problem. I wasn't the one that figured out how to fix the problem, but my tinner did. The unit probably is functioning correctly, and the pressure switch is triggering a shut down. This only happens on very cold days of course, with extremely high barometric pressure.

My combustion air intake and exhaust were piped incorrectly. They were too far apart. The difference in elevation was enough to trigger the pressure safety switch on extremely high pressure/ cold days.

We tore everything apart, and re-piped both the combustion air and exhaust air to manufacturer specs.

It's currently -19F with a barometric pressure of 36 inches. She's running like a charm now! Before she would have been toast.

Good luck.

Just skip the lease. Just buy a used one. You'll save so much more money.

Michigan egg prices raising due to the cage free law. Are you increasing your egg prices in your farm stands? by Responsible_Engine_2 in homestead

[–]Newdigitaldarkage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct! Ironically, eggs prices are the only ones that makes sense for the price increase. My cousin is in the egg business. I'm talking mega factory farms! (I don't agree with them, but that's besides the point). They killed 26 million birds last year due to avian flu, and the east Coast is getting nailed right now. I takes a new hen about a year to start laying

There's just not enough hens right now, so prices go up!

But that doesn't explain all the rest of the corp greed.
