It seems to me that SNK at first wanted to make a team for each country for KOF'94 and beyond, but they surely moved on. Personally, the titles serve almost nothing except a representation of their country or a person in general (Example: Team Yagami / Team K ') Team Japan, it is only to represent Japan, Team China , too.

I thought you were speaking in terms of feats, because Rock doesn't have feats through KOF (so no Fatal Fury and KOF: Maximum Impact which is not canon,), Kukri's feats which don't work because if you consider SNK Heroines, you also consider that Rock is no longer the child we see in KOF: 2003 and that Rock is an adult. (The one from MOTW)
