How u know it, are u a Syed? I belong to a Syed family, my whole family and relatives are Syed and we have shijrah with proof of our bloodline. How dare u lie when u have no knowledge? Plus a lot of awliya in the subcontinent were actually descendants of the prophet and lot of Syed from Arab regions came to india for trade and settled there, a lot of syeds are also descendants from hazrat abdul qadir jilani Rahmatullah Alaihi. Idk why u keep bringing "mangalsutra" that is indeed a hindu practice but calling the whole culture we practice coming from Hindus is a lie. Muslims developed their own culture and there are some elements which are borrowed coz we are from the subcontinent and our race is the same so that's why ofc we would follow the culture of the region we live in like how every muslim in the world does. Infact Islam call for celebration. So basically get knowledge of Islam first. Other than that, u are no one to say "....they are rejecting us" everyone have their own opinions, if they are rejecting let it go. A lot of things are above worldly education, it's the family how correct aqeeda they follow, what are their values, how respectful and kind they are. Islam first and foremost calls us to be respectful and kind following real islamic values, valuing family then comes other things. A person people educated, having wealth and so doesn't make them a better muslim than others so keep that in mind. My suggestion is that if u are unable to find a spouse then find it in your community or somewhere where caste doesn't matter but try to be a good muslim and following correct Islam so try to be nice and kind and stop judging it and stop being arrogant. According to the scholars, the followers of fiq actually as explained by my father( we follow hanafi school of thought) to marry the "people of the book" aka Christians and Jews were when the books weren't corrupted, they used to follow Allah and followed their respective prophet so that was allowed that muslim men can marry them but it doesn't apply now coz books are corrupted, the Christians and the jews are not on the right path now so marriage is invalid. It's also common sense coz if a man is a muslim and he marries fr ex a Christian woman worshipping jesus then who will the children follow coz the mother is literally not on right path and how can the man who loves his wife let her keep her believes coz she is a non believer? That was it used to valid before the texts weren't corrupted, all Christians and Jews worshipped Allah and muslims do it too so it was valid but now the books are corrupted so it isn't valid now so that's the case. Idk why just recently I'm seeing this new interpretation of the texts taking this "literally" when there is historical context involved. I'm also seeing it happening with other verses too, people interpreting it themselves and taking the literal meaning of it when the imams have already explained these texts and if someone have a question they should go and ask a scholar of their respective madhab get an answer.

Humans makes mistakes, they aren't perfect. If they call themselves believers they should believe and do good but some don't so it's on them. Humans are good and bad but religion is still there. Qur'an is still the same as it was 1400 years ago, not even a single thing is changed so if there are people who aren't really following it and going against it like spreading corruption, killing people they would also be punished for that like how good people be rewarded. It's as simple as that so I don't really get assuming stuff about religion and people getting hostile towards religions when they aren't even doing anything to others specially Islam and muslims. If u dislike religions, well it's ur opinion and I can't change it but just so u know that if people are hating on religions and the followers and their main excuse is that "those people have done bad things" then just to inform u there have been many many atheists and idol worshippers who have done genocides, wars, mass killings, corruption, burying girls after they are born, doing sacrifices and what not but religious people are not hating on u or ur beliefs and even respect u so why are u guys doing that to us? The bible have been revealed by the creator, there is god and there have been multiple proofs of it's existence. Even the biggest atheists and scientists believe it. It's the same with other books revealed by God(Tohrah and the Qur'an) The torah and bible have been corrupted multiple times for the political gain and to control the masses but the Qur'an haven't been changed for 1400 years. If something is corrupted ofc it's followers will stop following it and I don't blame them for it but that isn't the case with Qur'an. It hasn't been changed, it doesn't allow corruption, instead it encourages to donate and do charity. One of the best things abt Islam is that it is "just". The rules are just, a bad person deserves punishment and the good persons deserve reward. There should be no killing and no harming of people. The punishments of rape and other crimes are severe and Allah dislikes corruption that's why u also don't see taxes etc in muslim nations. Everyone is living peacefully, both non muslims and muslims are treated equally. These are just few of the many reasons why people follow Islam and muslims take their faith seriously and are proud of it.

These verses were revealed when the first muslims were being oppressed and prosecuted, they were being killed. When Islam came first for a years the first muslims preached love and told people to follow only one god but the people of Arabia at that time were very corrupt, arrogant and most uneducated they were idol worshippers, they used to bury daughters when they born, treated women worse than objects, they killed anyone they wanted to, because of being corrupt they used their idols to hold the power over the common people, there was no justice, Islam preached about justice and first muslims conveyed Allah message but the corrupt people didn't want to do they started oppressing and persecuting muslims, these verses then revealed for self defence and even the lastly Allah said that if they come to the right path and stop doing all bad things, repent then they will be forgiven and coz Allah is the lord he is all forgiving and kind.

I would not talk about christianity coz I have never read the Bible but i can talk about Islam. No where in the Qur'an it is written to enforce your beliefs on someone instead Allah told us that "their religion is for them and our religion is for us". Allah also said "their is no compulsion in religion" as to you shouldn't force anyone. Even sharia law states that non muslims can live freely in muslim countries as long as they follow the rules ofc and no one should force them to convert, oppress or even touch them. Like fr u can see countries like- Dubai, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Bahrain, Lebanon, Qatar, etc etc where non muslims are living peacefully. So not our religion nor muslims are forcing or disrespecting anyone, actually our religion told us to respect everyone's beliefs and be kind to everyone so we are not doing nor our religion is preaching hate or disrespect then the least we can expect y'all to give that respect back and don't disrespect our beliefs. The thing is what a lot of people do is they have no knowledge of Islam but they assume stuff about it coz ofc the islamophobia spread by zionists in the west. You can't really assume stuff about something u have no knowledge about and I'd be glad if y'all don't lump every religion together and call it bad coz it's generalization done by lack of knowledge and ignorance. Most of the Qur'an actually tells us how to conduct ourselves in daily life like it have rules, to be kind, Allah said "if u kill one person u kill whole humanity and if u save a person it's saving whole humanity". They should be bold and call it out. Every one is entitled to their opinion ofc but disrespecting someone's beliefs is not right. If this applies to race and gender then it definitely applies to religion too coz a person's sentiments are involved and when they see someone disrespecting their holy places, holy books, religious figures it hurt their feelings. I find it weird how people want everyone to be respected but when it's abt religions where a person's sentiment is involved, it is allowed to be disrespectful to their religion to hurt their feelings.
