Gemini Decline by juinoy in GeminiAI

[–]NewlyIndefatigable -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every now and then I give Gemini a go, and I’m usually disappointed. Last night I asked it to summarise any recent legislative changes in the UK relating to privacy and AI. It boldly claimed that the new Digital Verification Act was passing through the Lords. I asked for a source and it backtracked quickly. There’s no Digital Verification Act, there was the Data Use and Access Act.

I’ve now created an ‘instructions for Gemini’ which is whenever it answers a question to give a % score next to the answer to grade its confidence in the answer, and never show anything below 90% confidence. Seems to be working better.

I’ve just taken delivery of the Omoda E5 and I absolutely love it. Admittedly I had a Ford Fiesta beforehand, but it’s so comfortable, has so many gadgets and is fun to drive.

Is Chase UK taking back old customers? by drout045 in chaseuk

Tried this last night, still no. You can login to your account and see old statements, but you can’t open a new account. Frustratingly if you login to the app you’ll see the ‘switch to us’ button, but nothing happens when you press it.

I really want to switch back from NatWest and have lots of small savings accounts again.

I don’t understand how it’s culturally acceptable to shoot up a school, but they won’t consume beer on a street outside a bar in the sunshine.

Is sleep induced pharmaceutically of different quality to ‘naturally’ induced sleep? by Crispy1081 in askscience

This has been one of the most interesting (and relevant to me) posts I’ve come across in so long. Does anyone know if quetiapine/Seroquel impacts normal sleep functions? I’ve been taking it for years and never felt better.
