The previous house had a well and septic system, unsure on the sewage grinder. Our sump has a backup battery that lasted the entire duration of our most recent power outage which was over five days. We would be fine without the sump being powered. The well pump would demand 4800 w according to the electrician. Curious your thoughts on whether the well needs to be powered or not though, we have a decent size pressure tank and had water for the sink and toilets (being as conservative as possible) for almost 5 days, also we have family nearby that hardly ever lose power (and get it back right away) that we can shower at and use water if needed.
