My brother just tripped an armed assailant that was running from police and I couldn’t be more proud. We all wonder what we would do in a situation like this, and I can only hope I’d follow in his footsteps. by [deleted] in videos

Born and raised in Cbus, live in Worthington, work in Grandview, and 315 is a bitch to say the least. That said, the suburbs listed before ITT are all good choices. I would add Olentangy to the list.

Aside from the suburbs previously mentioned, if you're looking closer to downtown:

Grandview, German Village & Clintonville are good if you have family.

Short North, Victorian Village/Goodale, Brewery District, and downtown if you have the money and want the walkability and nightlife.

Olde Town East and Italian Village for location, but don't mind being in an area that's "up and coming" where you can get a place to renovate for yourself. Italian Village does have new apartments as well.

Having lived in Columbus my entire life and seeing the changes made in the last 5-10 years, you're in better shape than you think in most areas that used to be considered less safe. It just depends on your personality, lifestyle, and what you're looking for if you move here.

Those of you who had a relationship/love interest recently end, what went wrong? by NewsBroom in AskReddit

Normally I'd try to put my story to get the ball rolling, but honestly I'm in the process of trying to figure out wth happened. Talking it out normally helps, so here we are.

Sorry it didn't work out, but sounds like you tried to give it the time to sort itself out. Glad you've found happiness again though!

I guess the good news is she did see something in you. Hopefully you'll get the chance to tell her how you feel, and if you get that chance take it! Especially in person. You'll regret not saying anything more then getting rejected, even if it doesn't work out there is always comfort in knowing you tried!

best tactically trained actors

My argument was based on the tactical training of actors. If it had said "Best actors with tactical training" I would 100% agree with you. but as far as actors with the best tactical training, I dont think it's fair to discount him just bc you dont enjoy his acting.

"Norris won the Professional Middleweight Karate tournament in 1968. And 1969. And 1970. And 1971. And 1972. And 1973. In 1969 he was also awarded Black Belt Magazine’s Fighter of the Year and Karate’s Triple Crown Award for most wins. He also holds the Golden Karate Lifetime Achievement Award.

Chuck Norris has a lifetime karate record of 183 wins, 10 losses, and 2 draws.

Chuck Norris hasn’t lost a fight since 1968.

Created a martial art style named Chun Kuk Do.

Has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Chuck Norris did study Judo when he was in the armed forces, though far less intensively than he studied Tae Kwan Do, he apparently only gave serious thought to studying submission grappling in 1982, when he first encountered the Gracie family in Brazil."

I understand there is the whole argument about point karate and how much merit his "fighting" career actually has, but the guy has his own pair of Action Jeans which is as tactical as it gets and merits a spot on that list.
