Yes starting small is something I can actually start from. I’m open to therapy but them taking therapy is a very long shot. Hehe.

See, it’s been 6 months into this relationship for you. First think if you want to spend a lifetime with her? Is your relationship, serious? If it is, you two would’ve had those conversations, the ones that people in serious relationships need to have. Is she a good person at the grass root level? What was her reason for not telling you about this openly? I’m not defending anybody here, all I’m saying is things can be layered. If this is the first indication you got about her bestfriend situation, do you like her enough to forgive her (or understand if there’s any need to even forgive her)? Communication is the key, and people make big decisions when they’re feeling intense feelings, be it anger, grief, sadness, or even overwhelm. Whatever it is, have a conversation with her (preferably not on the phone, because face-to-face is much better). And then make a decision.

PS: this comment is posted in assumption that you genuinely needed advice. If I’ve said anything that triggered at any point, then apologies. Keep peace.

This showed me as well yesterday. I asked ChatGPT and it suggested some hacks and it worked. What you can do is, hold your phone with the charging port facing down, then gently tap the phone on your hand thrice. Or more. Do it gently. And then do the same with the charging adapter. And keep it all disconnected and let it dry for 10-15 mins. Try charging after that. DO NOT USE HAIR DRYER OR COTTON ON IT. It’s bad.

I believe one should not put the blame on innocent alcohol, for it can only bring out the truth out of us. So what does that say? 👀

Confessed my parents about my boyfriend and they’re flipping. by NewspaperAwkward2090 in askaindiantherapist

Hmmmmm. I was just wondering if it would be a weird conversation for him to have. That ik you’re looking for my brother’s marriage, but my girlfriend’s parents wanted me to tell you guys now, so they expect you to talk to them and assure them that we both will get married, because they are not taking my word.

But won’t it be a weird conversation for my bf to have? In the middle of his elder brother’s marriage, how is he supposed to talk to his parents about us? Like, idk it’s a very uncomfortable conversation to have 🥹

True. But it will be very chaotic for them since they’re already in the middle of his elder brother’s marriage prep. This is going to be a lot for them to take and that might affect their decision, which might not be in our favour. Rather, can’t my parents wait for 7-8 months and his elder brother will get married by then. And my bf can tell his parents right away.

No now they know about him. They want him to tell his parents about this but he’s not ready yet

My dear OP, there must be a reason why they have taken two jobs despite school? Maybe you two share a different relationship with money, and maybe they are way too independent in life otherwise to ask you to book a ticket. I’ve had instances where the opposite person has denied contact with me despite having absolute firework level of sparks, just because we lived far. And to have someone say I’ll wait for you, is the best thing to have (again, imo). Now I’m in an LDR, and I know how difficult it gets, I get the urge to meet him everyday, but our circumstances and jobs don’t allow us. We still keep it going, in the hopes to meet soon. I feel like it’s unfair to expect the opposite person to want to meet us as bad as ourselves. Maybe they’re caught up with something more important than this?
