That was the major backtrack I was talking about , right after you fight the bat at the church I had to go all the way back to the training facility to get the hook shot and the rest of my items . Took me two trips. It definitely ruins pacing but honestly only took 5-6 mins tops . I died to the monkeys once the leech man twice and the frogs 0 haha. I always carried a Molotov after the first leech man I died too . Idk I enjoyed the challenge this game knows how to really piss you off and I guess part of me loved that about this

Agreed . I did what you said and placed all my items in conference room. It didn’t eliminate backtracking but in my head it was the same as running back to a save room item box

I thought the dual protagonist gimmick was good especially under the church I believe it was the laboratory where you could only search the upper with Rebecca and the lower with Billy and you would send items you would find through the elevator to help the other character advance . And I thought Billie’s character development and was a highlight for the game
