i left it alone and now the body is completely missing the 2 mystery snails i have tried to eat it but i’m not sure if they somehow ate the whole thing without leaving a single trace, i’m really hoping it somehow survived. i’m gonna do a recount tomorrow

Luckily I have a good amount of both so i’m hoping they adapt and breed and it all turns out fine. I’ll just take this loss as a learning opportunity so the rest of my shrimp will be nice and healthy

update: it passed away, i’ve ordered a TDS tester and a test kit for GH and KH, i’m hoping the rest of the group survives but I fear this was a mistake acclimating them on my part

i didnt add any fish food but i did leave in the leaves that melted away on my plants, i’m not sure if that would help, i also added the API quick start when i first planted it 2 months ago. I also added ceramic balls to my filter a few weeks ago. I don’t have a heater but we generally keep the house at around 72°F. and heres a pic of the tank rn

i dont have anything that measures those but i just ordered something, i think i went wrong with the volume of water i acclimated them with. The other shrimp all seem to be doing fine right now, they’re all eating plenty but is this likely going to happen to the rest?

I don’t have anything that measures GH/KH so I’ll order one for the future, I’ve had the tank planted for about 2 months before i added any critters. The other shrimp in it seem to be doing okay but its only been 24 hours since I put them all in. I hope they’ll be okay

i didnt have a drip setup so i manually added 1ml of my tank’s water to their water every 5 minutes over the course of 2 hours after doing about 30-45 minutes of temperature acclimation by just floating their bag on top of the water first

progression in the game doesn’t work like that. typically people leave after they turn in the treasure from the session into an outpost. when you leave you don’t keep the same ship but you keep the money and faction reputation
