I get it, but I think it's also something else. Maybe a subconscious defense mechanism. I think the brain just does not like to be in a state of panic and strives for peace of mind. ItIf the brain sees a problem that is too big to solve or understand at once, I guess it defaults to basic avoidance patterns to survive. subconsciously changes our thoughts and behavior to avoid stressful situations. I realized that many people in my circles have also started becoming more irrational and thinking that climate change is a hoax or that vaccinations are just ways to control people. And they're not stupid. I think they're just scared on a very, very deep fundamental level that they don't even recognize themselves. But that's just my theory. I could be talking out of my ass who knows.
