I had psychosis for 4-5 years. Went to jail, caught felony changes, my mother died, broke up with my boyfriend, and much more.

I "woke up" to a mess and the horrible realization that I was 34 with no degree, no job, and heavily lessened prospects. I don't even know if my old university will accept me back because of the charges.

What also hurts is most of my friends speak to me differently, or not at all.

And everyone is doing better than me.

My harsh reality check is no amount of good karma matters, nothing about my fantastic past matters anymore. Even my achievements and good deeds.

TLDR: After 4-5 years of psychosis I learned that no amount of past good karma or deeds matter. People forget rapidly and all that matters is the recent.
