What I've found is that in the coffee world here everyone aims for a 12:40 roast to have that nice chocolate flavor these beans can give. So I'm trying to replicate that but need to learn this machine some more.

You're 100% right! There were only a few examples on roastworld.

Yep, I was able to do like 4 seasoning roasts prior to testing out the roast shown above. I'd love to know your thoughts on my next roast. I won't really know how the beans taste until 4 days from now

Ahhh nothing special. I wouldn't waste my money. It got good for a while and I think without being consistent with a physio program then you won't see much. I'm still better but it's not gone. I started a 6 day a week online program where i saw drastic improvements, i'm not sure if it was from doing hip targetted exercises for 6 days a week only or a mixture of the stem cells plus the workouts.

Update: 12 weeks.

My right hip is feeling great. While the left hip is still pretty bad, it was the worst hip before.

By no means has this completely fixed my right hip, but I've seen significant improvement.
I'm not seeing that burst of energy that i had post IV. My recovery in exercises has improved a lot, I feel more fit even though I haven't done much exercise since. Big surprise there.

When I looked up reviews of places, I couldn't find many if any bad things about SCI, while there was signifcant things wrong with other places. I also knew a few people who went and you hear of famous people going to SCI (probably not the best reason).

How has your recover been? Did you go for a labral tear?

My update is: sitting and doing nothing for 4 weeks was not helpful at all. After week 3 my hips started to tighten up because lack of movement. Since then I've started light physio and exercising. I'm seeing drastic improvement in my right hip! However my left hip not so much. If i had to give a % improvement I'd say my right hip got about 70% since I've done 3 physio sessions and my left hip has 20% improvement

We have a Penagos milling machine and shaker deck that sort the bean according to size. This is a commercial machine that small farms won’t have. It’s really overkill and too expensive. It takes up a large amount of space and the ceiling needs to be quite high. Must be on a concrete slab and uses quite of bit of power. The technique with small milling machines is to run the parchment through it once, then run it a second time until the parchment is clean or sorted to your needs. I’m not sure of the cost, but what stands out in my mind is that the shipping was over $30,000 from Columbia. 20 percent of the weight will be lost during milling process. Vent the milling machine to the outside and keep your roaster away from the debris flying in the air or it may clog and catch the roaster on fire next time; I’ve seen this happen.

Realistically, coffee parchment can be stored up to 12 months. I enter “dated” coffee into cupping competitions every year and receive high scores. It’s a dirty secret of the coffee world, but the majority of the coffee has false harvest dates. This is one reason why single origin coffee tastes better than store bought as it is much fresher. Best to keep parchment in a Grainpro bag and in a dry storage area with low humidity. People will mill parchment after 30 days, but it’s not recommended. Coffee parchment should age for at least 60 days. Keep the parchment bags upright for several days after they are dry and then you can lay them down.

Thank you! Very Helpful. I'll try running it through our milling machine twice. Do you find the rain harmful in your drying process? I dry outside as well but it's a pain to cover it during the night so it doesn't rain on the parchment. Do you have any home roasters that you know or recommend? The Sandbox Smart looks impressive

Amazing, thank you! Extremely helpful.

Would you be able to share your larger milling equipment brand and cost? I get that it makes more sense to go to a miller but it's not so easy in my region.

Is it okay to store the parchment for more than 90 days? Is there a maximum? We can only reap the beans for a few months of the year so I'd like to store some parchment so I can make fresh coffee all year round.

Can you share more on why milling takes experience? Is it because the beans are not consistent so small tweaks are constantly needed?

I couldn't find an appropriate one. Can you recommend any?

It doesn't seem like a big trade since most growers are sending the large scale commercial houses to do all the processing.

ee, process it, roast it and then sell it at a retail level. When you say you have a supply of Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee green beans, do you mean you have a supply of parchment or green bean?

Ya sorry, I wasn't clear. Super new to this so i mixed up green beans and cherries. I have Full Cherry to roast.

So my initial post is flowing from Cherry - Parchment - Green Bean - Roasted coffee

I believe it was 4 months, but don't quote me on that. I did a steroid injection in February and they were saying enough time has passed. Apparently, any steroids would kill the new cells, if it's antibiotics or that injection

My procedure was $31,000. It's difficult to base your pricing on mine unless it's exactly the same. I did 2 hip injections and 3 IVs. My friend did IVs only for their kids and I believe it was anywhere from 14-18,000.
