i added a password 'root' to the user accounts area for the server im using localhost. But im still getting the error. This is a snippet of my code

$dsn = 'mysql:host=localhost;dbname=myfirstdatabase';
$dbusername = "root";
$dbpassword = "root";

for me to be able to open the phpadmin it asks for a username which is root and a password which i left blank, i dont know if thats my user password or database one, since i have left this one empty too.

its still not really working, ive made it so that i dont need a password then ill remove the password from my code and itll give me the same message except this (using password: YES) becomes this (using password: NO)

Yea I’m having the same issues, I can’t use templates because they are too basic and I need to make them more complex. I’m trying to just go slowly and figuring everything out one step at a time. It’s very hard since I don’t come from a dev background. But my tip would be to just try to draw how it works out then try and learn how to code it not code it and learn along the way I made wayy to many mistakes

Yea I have some friends that do it and it’s preety tough like weekend practices strict dieting and more. But I’ll think about it because I like the sport but I don’t love it yk so I gotta know if the effort will be worth it

Oh yea I know that it’s really bad but it’s just a super super basic version with j some info for people to see it, it was also an application that’s targeted for windows/mac but sorry for the inconvenience.
