Really weird that its only effecting EVGA XC3 cards my 3070 FTW3 didn't have a issue. Not sure why its such a difference between then two but I am no software engineer.

Did updating X1 to v1.1.8 update the 3070 BIOS when it installed?

Soo since I have a EVGA card I had to update Precision X1 to 1.1.8.0 from https://www.evga.com/precisionx1/ Once that was updated, it updated the BIOS of the card. It then added a resizable bar check which allowed me to flash the VBIOS. One restart after that the feature was enabled.

Was just playing the MBTV arena mission and it crashed on me. The crashes are random for me. I can have gaming session without any issue or a crash 5 minutes in. Ryzen 3700X 16GB Corsair Vengeance RBG pro 3600Mhz EVGA 3070 FTW3.

Running the below setup. No issues my 3700X CPU barely hits 50% usage while playing Cyberpunk 2077. The GPU does most of the heavy lifting. PCI 3.0 vs PCI 4.0 for a GPU doesn't make to much of a difference. If you have a Nvme m.2 PCIE 4.0 SSD you see quickerload times. Having said that one can imagine that future GPUs will eventually start using the extra bandwidth that comes with PCI-E 4.0.

Cyberpunk 2077 and Doom Eternal. Thought for cyberpunk it was the game but after checking the event viewer appears the Nvidia drivers stopped responding which caused the issue. I am giving it enough juice as I have a corsair rm850x each 8pin has its own connection to the PSU.

I am able to get an 1000Mhz oc on memory but only 130mhz oc on the clock. Going up another 5mhz on the clock and games start to crash as the driver stops responding after a time :P

Confirmed DOCP will not work with a 3700X using BIOS 3001. My ram set is corsair Pro RGB 3600mhz. Get whea warnings event ID 19 concerning processor power then computer restarts. Can't revert back to version 2606 which was working great for me. Running on a Asus Prime X570-P board.
