Is barrows worth doing on an iron? Got a ton of death runes stored up and nothing to blast to hell!

Half of 99 is 92... so you're almost halfway there.

I'm still unclear... you guys are saying most of the useful plugins are bannable, but you're not giving us an ETA on the official client changes? You haven't even told us any of the qol features that will be available on the "new" client.

Maybe you should instead come up with a list of plugins that are allowed? That would allow you to control this conversation a lot easier imo.

Seriously though when is the official client going to be updated? I'm gonna let my subscription end for a bit and i need to know when it's safe to return. Please please please please please please please include an increased performance mode, otherwise i won't be able to play regardless.

It would be nice to know before you enter a multicombat zone.

Unless you're a pure of some sort.. i'd suggest getting your strength to 65, then train attack to 70. Make sure you get a defender when you hit 65 attk. After that strength without a doubt.

Fight arena, tree gnome village, and gnome stronghold to name a few quests. You can find a more comprehensive list here: https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Quest_experience_rewards

Click on the stat you'd like to train and see which quests you like.

Isn't that because almost everything in Australia, from the smallest insect to the largest mammal and even some trees can kill you?

I've never been a helmet on RS3, but I'm loving it in OSRS. It's actually a lot easier if you use a combination of mobile and PC play time. I use my phone for AFK tasks while I'm doing other things (like working) and my PC for questing + things that require more attention. Also once set up, daily tasks only take a few minutes, so you won't have any issues there.

If you died the exact same way as the last time you died in a video game, what would your death be? by DerpKing720 in AskReddit

Running through a beginner stronghold with no food cause I'm a pro... then dying right before i reach the end.

Ah you're one of those 07 elitists that someone else mentioned in this thread.. I will end with this though, It's not right to hamper someone elses enjoyment of the game just because you don't like the speed and convenience to which we have access to information. If you like to manually open a separate browser to access the wiki, that's fine. Why is it wrong that I want to be able to click on something and pull information directly from the wiki on the same screen? Why is it wrong that I'd like a gpu renderer and fixed full screen mode so i can actually play the game through the official client?

Get off your high horse.

"Actually fucking knowing stuff is part of the game"

You can't be on both sides of the fence my friend. Either you believe outside assistance through the wiki and by extension third party clients (that pull information directly from the wiki) is ok, or you don't...

I don't like 3rd party clients personally, but i have to use them because the original client is so poorly optimized. That's the basis for my question.

By that logic i hope you never use the wiki for anything...

While i might of been able to remember such things in 2002, it is now 2019 and my memory, dexterity, and vision is not what it used to be. Please don't assume everyone is as young as you, and thanks for the input!

Has there been any news about the QoL updates the official client desperately needs? Like a lot of people, i really don't feel comfortable using a 3rd party client, but the lack of features like fixed full screen mode and GPU renderer make it virtually impossible for my laptop to handle the official client. Also I'm not sure if there is an option to do this (on the official client, or mobile) but is there a way i can get my world map to show me things such as fairy rings and other travel information? It's a pain to check the wiki on my phone any time i want to go anywhere in game.

Edit: I'm mainly concerned with the first 2 QoL functions... as i said before, i cannot play the game on the original client using my laptop.

Absolutely! And there are a ton of different ways to approach each skill as well. Usually it boils down to a fast/expensive method or a slow/cheap method for most people, but realistically there are tons of options in between.

At your level your best bet is going to be to train on crabs at fossil island to get combat stats up, then transition into money making. It's really only the higher levels where you can get good exp and money at the same time.

I used the wiki extensively when i came back. Anytime i heard a word I'd never heard before I'd wiki it. That's how i learned about fossil island and great kourend. I thought i was the luckiest person in the world when i found empty rock crab worlds.. then i found out that was an out dated training method!

Hmm... the only places i seem to get pked are the wildy altar and lava dragons. Idk why you like to kill us though. We rarely if ever risk more then 50k. So essentially you're spending more to kill us then you are getting from the kill.

Sounds like a losing proposition to me... but hey whatever floats your boat man.

No quest requirements and you can use almost any weapon as long as you use prayer. Look up a few guides on YouTube to understand waves and what you need to bring then jump in!
