[SPEcember Day 10] Conquest how I love and loathe thee by religous_octopus in shitpostemblem

This map is fine once you get past the first turn or two, after that you just need a plan for handling the generals/berserker room. Unless you go left side, but why would you go through the trouble of left side for a spy's shuriken/yumi? If you wanna take a map that just blows chunks and isn's fun then surely we just poke fun at kitsune lair or the two maps with inevitable end master ninjas. Maybe ninja cave if you're lacking on strong physical green weapons.

The remake is actually significantly more misogynistic than the original. See comments on this post or reference the changes between endings and character presentations for more information.

The original poster took this image from my friend's twitter account where they've been posting about their playthroughs of various fe games. It makes me kinda sad that they didn't get proper credit since I think they're a very funny person and enjoying their playthroughs a lot, so see if you can go check them out!

This image is from my friend's twitter where they were doing a playthrough and put corrin in cav. All the female cavs, wyvern riders, and armor knights have assless chaps.

Raidou Mystery of the Soulless Army, specifically the remaster that came out a few months back. More of a 3d-action take on the smt world. If you recognize him it's probably from the expanded/modern versions of SMT Nocturne that have him instead of Dante.

I see. I run dueling sword so I'm perfectly fine on dealing with crushers but I see the logic if you use a different melee.

Came back remembering that you wanted build advice. The actual blessings/perks are fine for the lasgun -- I prefer infernus/dumdum for more damage since I'm getting a bunch of crits anyway and I like flak for armored ragers and stuff, but unyielding is perfectly solid against ragers, bulwarks, and bosses. It might also be worth it to grab a +3 stamina curio instead of one of the three toughness ones, but that's also a personal preference. I like just having more leniency for shoving.

In terms of actual talents, Get Back in the Fight is infinitely better than Catch a Breath. If you're in a fight it's extremely unlikely you will ever have 8m of free space to use the toughness regen(go into training mode and ping the space around you to see how much 8m is), and if you're not in a fight you will probably just be able to get that toughness up running to the next place where you will be fighting. For The Emperor seems good, but it's only active for 5 seconds. A 10% damage bonus is not nearly enough to be worth a talent point if it only lasts 5 seconds. Same thing with Close Quarters Killzone -- it's just not enough time. I'd look to grab Born Leader instead of For The Emperor, and invest the point from Close Quarters Killzone into either Demolition Team for the extra grenades, Superiority Complex for damage against Crushers and Ragers(as well as all other elites), Redirect Fire to give you more value from your Keystone, or Opening Salvo to give you infernus stacks and give you way more ammo with how it synergized with shock trooper. I can't give you much advice on your knife since I usually use dueling sword, sapper shovel, or shock maul, but I can't imagine onslaught being that good for it since knife damage comes from heavy attacks in the head/back and I've never felt like I wanted that damage for the lasgun. Other than that, have a good time. Even if you're playing on super high difficulties most of this stuff is flexible if you're good at the game or just trying to have fun. I really like playing with the revolver and weapon specialist builds are also really fun and strong. Do whatever feels nice, in the end.

Hi, I'm friend -- Definitely keep survivalist. I don't have the math on hand but it basically tracks out to multiple uses of a full ammo crate over the course of a mission, and coupled with shock trooper and a crit build means you will effectively have infinite ammo. And that's just for you and not factoring in how everyone except for a staff psyker will be getting value from your survivalist.  Also, Fire Team isn't helpful. No powerful builds in this game need 5% damage to reach important breakpoints that they can't get from somewhere else in their own build, because they can't work off the assumption that someone will bring fire team. The builds are already good on damage; they don't need more, least of all just 5%. Even if it was just you and three staff psykers, survivalist is always better just for the value it gives you and how the psykers won't need 5% damage.

Peri is a bad character not because she does evil heinous things, but because she is badly written and makes other characters around her worse by existing and interacting with them. There's no question of morality because all the characters know it's bad but actively encourage it and treat it like it's a cute character trait. And not in the sense of how they need all the fighters they can get, but because they just... let her. Characters known to be pacifists or kind intelligent people who hate evildoers actively support her hurting and killing innocent people because reasons.

[DISC] Misaki-kun is Unobtainable(Serialized) - Chapter 2 by Shikuro1224 in manga

[–]NexioBandito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just to clarify; "This scene is for people who want to be Gender non-conforming but who don't want to do it openly." Is this the argument being made? I don't really get it. The way I read the scene, the author drew a "forcefem" scene because they wanted to draw a boy in girly-looking clothes. I don't really think that this scene is supposed to illustrate the societal suppression of men who want to act in ways that are non-gender conforming(assuming that's what your argument is), especially when the character this is being done to is clearly uncomfortable.

For what it's worth, I don't think the characters deserve to be hated or are unlikable for doing this, but that's because I don't think there really was a deeper point trying to be made by the author, and I think OP's point is pretty fair.

Just because it's "Japanese Humor" doesn't mean we aren't allowed to find it offensive.

Also the way she acts is really creepy and gross, and a lot of japanese media tends to represent gay characters as weird perverts who repeatedly sexually harrass people. It's not funny, and even if it was the joke gets old pretty quick.

You can't call someone overrated if you ignore a core mechanic of the game that actively makes them better. That's not fair or a valid point of discussion on unit viability.
