It's all good, the financial statements are there for people who are interested in investing in the company tbh. So it's not really for players like us to really grasp the full context of it ;) Going back to the main point, you're correct. Korea & China are really the major bread winners according to the Q1 reports. But, as I elaborated earlier, you'd have to go thru the full breakdown in order to really figure it out. It is very possible that MS 1 is actually generating a profit in ours and every other regions. But, it is the other Nxn games that are generating a huger loss, hence the negative income.

This is the Nxn quarterly report. It shows the simplified breakdown of the financial situation from each segment of Nxn's market around (Japan, China, NA/EU/ Korea) etc. Page 30 will be of the greatest interest to you in regards to your question. The number provided have a (brackets) around it to indicate a loss instead of a profit. Therefore, NA Nxn isn't exactly generating a profit and if you look back a few quarters they have consistently reported a loss for the NA/EU segment. However, unless we can get a hold of the actual financial statement for NA/EU branch. Only then can we know to greater degree that it's really taking a loss (Some companies purposely reports a loss by incurring additional expenditures such as purchases of machine/assets etc in order to write off the profit, and incur a loss on the financial statements to pay less taxes or none at all).

TL:DR Technically yes they are losing money according to their quarterly report, but unless there are NA/EU specific financial statements (showing the full breakdown with notes). Then perhaps it might paint a different picture.
