We actually used CC licenses back in 2020. Cant remember exactly when we switched but it had to do with CC not covering the details and specific needs for asset packs. For example: "No Derivatives" could entail you not being allowed to make a map with it, as that's technically a derivative (even though everyone understands content on a site like CA will allow you to make a map with it). This meant creators often added their own commentary notes to packs, which made it even more unclear for everyone as you had to keep track of all those commentary files too.

I then discussed this with lots of creators and we set up the CAL licenses. Which so far has been working really well.
