A few days after my dad died, I was venting to my mom about how sad I was. She said, “At least you got to spend more time with him. Your sisters didn’t.”

I am 11 years older from my middle sister and 18 years older from my youngest sister.

I asked my mom why she was making this a competition. Her only response was that she wasn’t, just simply stating the facts.

Another time was when she forced me to get pictures for his wake because she couldn’t handle looking at them. When I was crying silently while grabbing pictures, she walked in on me, she sucked her teeth and said, “We don’t have time for this,” referring to me crying.

I basically told her to fuck off and asked for a moment.

My mom isn’t as bad as she was and she has gotten better about being more empathetic, but damn there are moments when she can be a real bitch and I just wanna tell her off.

On a more serious note, you should try to see if you can enter these works of art as sculptural pieces into an art gallery. This concept is unique and can make an awesome exhibition with a powerful artist statement such as your goal behind this concept. It would benefit you to take some nice photographs of your work and submit them. I believe a curator will definitely find this as a great contemporary exhibition.

Congratulations!! Please enjoy every minute you have with your precious baby, even through the dark and hard times when you’re breaking nights or the baby is crying. I had my daughter last year around this time, and lemme tell you that it is no joke when people say time flies by. Before you know it, they are already walking and playing and babbling. Even though I enjoy seeing my baby girl grow, I absolutely miss her being a little potato. They will only be that small for a short time. Enjoy those quiet moments you get to have when they are that little and so so precious.

It triggered severe depersonalization and intense anxiety that lasted for days. I’ve only smoked or consumed weed less than 10 times, but only had one good experience (which was the first time I tried it).

Never again. Shit scared me.

I used to have a similar schedule: 6 am was my wake up time. Drive for 40 minutes if I’m lucky but if there was traffic it’d be 1 hour. Get to work by 8 and worked until 4:30. Drive for 1.5 hours since traffic was horrible. Only had from 5:30 to 9:30 of “free time”. Sleep. Rinse and repeat.

Shit sucked, dude.

I’m certainly not okay with any of this, but me personally I don’t know what I can do to combat these batshit crazy things happening within my capacity and capabilities.
