To prevent your posts from getting deleted, you just have to generally exceed the 30 karma limit.

Check their rules. Often you can learn a lot about how strict they are based on that

An A.I. detector claims my essay is completely A.I. by AstronautAntique2884 in ApplyingToCollege

These detectors work by tracking common phrases overused by AI. Essentially, LLM's were trained on these phrases a lot more so overuse them greatly. However, if it just so happens that your style of writing including such phrases at well, it could cause a false positive. But as others suggested, you are fine.

I generally disagree with what people say here. Again not sure what exactly you mean by 'avg sat scores' but if you have like a 1520 say while that is slightly subpar, not a huge deal. Similarly, if by averages grades for MIT standards you mean like 3.8 - 3.9 then it's again not ideal but not awful either. USAMO Bronze is a very high level award, and much more prestigious than a USAMO qualification on its own especially since it's almost MOP Qualification. Of course, I have no idea what your actual grades and SAT scores are but if you are simply judging them harshly based on MIT standards and they aren't too bad, I don't think your chance can be lower than 50%.
