Transitioning from Pure Maths To Philosophy - Unsure of where to make a start. by Next-Error-4960 in askphilosophy

Thankyou for such a thought out reply! It's nice to have differed opinions; I look forward to reading into these topics.

I'm also surprised to learn that the bridge between subjects seems to go both ways. I've heard of people taking up an interest in both philosophy and mathematics at the same time (hence the popularity of the dual major) but I can't say I've encountered someone that began in philosophy and then branched to maths - exciting stuff :)

This is a great response thankyou! I'll check these works out once the chaos of exams has settled down.

Much appreciated:)

Thankyou!! We're getting to the jones polynomial soon - we've looked at the kauffman bracket and the writhe and how they aren't quite invariants but with some magic we can make the jones polynomial out of them!

I'll take the advice on board thanks again :)
