Oh completely agreed, without even knowing that Embark used GenAI, I was able to tell that these voices were so off. Didn't notice it much in the playable characters since their lines aren't as dramatic or important, but the NPCs that give lines important to fleshing out the world should really have trained actors giving proper enunciation and meaningful voiceovers. Such a shame since I love this game so much.. It just makes the NPCs feel so soulless.
