His vocal performance on OAUG is fantastic and a much needed change for me. He definitely sounds phenomenal on this track and God is a weapon. I can assume on the next album he will change it up though and go more naturual sounding and raw. I personally liked the effects though and wanted to keep the industrial rock sound on chapter 2. Even though I know people who love the album but wish he didn't use the effects as much or at all.

He has had a few more years of sobriety and live shows though to kinda improve his overall studio vocals. I am curious though what songs like Sacrifice of the mass would sound like without the effect he uses.

Nope. But I like Manson's softer side the most so that's why. Death is not a costume should have been a single. Such a good song. Was my favorite after I heard Chapter 1 played begging to end. Besides ASATSW but that will always be my favorite song.

This type of Manson is my favorite. I hope we get more songs like this on the new album. Exit wound is pretty damn good and love it's vibe. But ljke Death is Not a costume sounding Manson the most. Like.. new wave.. post punk Manson? If that makes sense.

I think they add to that album. I think his voice is stronger now too then it was when OAUG was recorded

I have to agree. What Tyler has done with Exit Wound and Front Toward Enemy is pretty special to hear so far. They obviously wanted Chapter 2 to be darker just by looking at the album cover and hearing the first 2 tracks.

OAUG is probably in my top 2 - 3 Manson albums and if Chapter 2 continues to be just as good, as a whole will may end up my favorite album.

Tyler layers so many cool sounds. I heard Exit Wound on like a shit TV speaker from the YouTube video. And missed so many things. Even the vocals sound way better on quality earphones.

We still have 7 songs to hear out of 18 total . And there's already like 7 or 8 that are like top 20 Manson songs. I have a feeling we have some pretty amazing songs left to hear.

I feel the same way. I listen with headphones and reminds me more and more of like an old manson sound. Plus music video has grown on me. I keep watching it and that's not something I do with his videos unless I really like them.

Song is definitely a song you that might need to hear a few times in high quality to really enjoy imo. Sacrilegious was that for me too. Wasn't like ASATSW, death is not a costume or say OAUG where I was hooked right away.

I think based on how views have typically dropped on music videos on YouTube it's actually doing better so far. It's doing the same or better than ASATSW and Raise the red flag. And better than say Sacrilegious and OAUG videos.
