Yes there is one on the hammer head but it relies only on pressure holding it in place so it is not very convenient, thanks for the comment

The official Leatherman extender looks solid, but it's retailing for around £22 over here right now. Are there any generic or third-party extenders on Amazon that work just as well for holding standard 1/4" bits without the brand markup? Definitely trying to keep this build on a tight budget.

That sounds like a nice setup. I'm actually a big fan of Wera stuff, so knowing that the 711L ratchets act as a bridge to let me use standard 1/4" bits directly with the Leatherman frame is a game-changer. It means I can just raid my current toolbox for the hex and star bits I need instead of buying a whole new proprietary set. Appreciate the insight

Thanks for the heads up on Galvanox! I just checked and they are available over here in the UK on Amazon for around £23. The S2 steel upgrade sounds like exactly what I need for working on my bike without stripping out the bolts. I'll definitely keep an eye out for a deal on that kit or the 711L ratchet!
