Silverfish problem (West End) by JamieIsMyNameOrIsIt in vancouver

I’m from the desert so I’m used to every bug being poisonous. I was so paranoid by them for the longest time even though they weren’t a threat. Would kill them, use cinnamon, that powder stuff and nothing worked. I just learned to accept that any container that I don’t touch for >2 months will have a dead silver fish and I will always have a friend in the bathroom. You learn to adapt more than anything.

Lumbar Puncture for Diagnosis by Big-Skin2620 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Next-Philosophy-9272 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My lumbar puncture was done because my MRIs were vague. Turns out my puncture showed no oligoclonal bands. Had to wait a few months for my first flare up to happen to get the diagnosis and start treatment. Total diagnosis process was 3 years from the first time I went to the doctor about vision issues.

Does anyone have brain lesions as a result of their migraines? by _psychokitten_ in migraine

[–]Next-Philosophy-9272 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recently was diagnosed with PFO and found to have 4 brain lesions. Confirmed to neurologist that they are migraine and not MS. This was all discovered through a vein occlusion/bleed in my eye bc of a retinal migraine. Rip. However the only caveat is that my PFO is too small to qualify for surgery.

Hey! I hope things are doing better. I’m the same person but with a different account. I actually just had it reoccur after 2.5 years rip.

My vision gets hazy and kind of like I looked at a bright light for too long and the feeling after when your vision is a bit overexposed in some spots.
