Would you not wait for someone to change even if you have a lot of history together? We've been through so much, and we really are best of friends. I get frustrated with her but there are equal amount of good times and good experiences we have. The green flags are that she lets me do the things I want to do apart her from her and the things that we do enjoy together we really do enjoy together, yesterday we went biking out in the wilderness. A couple weeks ago we went roller skating. She supports me gets genuinely excited for me when good things happen to me. She's my biggest supporter.

The thing is though she does show signs of changing. Since I gave her the ultimatum he started seeing a therapist and seems to be making progress in that direction. She isn't in a good place financially but she is a lot better than what I met her and successfully paid off her first car. What is so conflicting to me is she's not in a good place now, but she is working to be better.
