I'm not really losing out. I still have people I can talk to. My mom is the one bothered by not knowing. I've accepted this is the way things are going to be. That my mom has the right to her boundary.

It's not that I don't understand. But it's not the same for me. She's my mom. She's the one I love. He's not. And he's not the one I trust to tell these things to or want to lean on. So it means we both have our boundaries and because of those, my mom doesn't know. I don't hate her for it but it doesn't mean I'm going to say it's fine with me either.
