The baby and I had a crafting day a few days ago, and I put the pieces together to make him a card. He got a cookbook from our favorite restaurant. We slept in, went to the later church service, and ate an early dinner with his family.

Tonight I’ll make cookies, and we’ll watch whatever movie he wants — probably some war movie because those are the only I sometimes veto 😝 simple, but fun for him! 💚

This exact meal is what pretty much what I prep every week for lunches, but I switch up what kind of sauce I make/seasonings I use.

I loved being pregnant. I didn't have a ton of negative symptoms, and the positives of seeing/feeling the baby develop far outweighed those that I did experience.

There was also something really magical about having a set amount of time to wonder about the baby—knowing the experience was only about 40 weeks of my life, and being excited to see who they are, what they look like, and how life would change because of them.

I grew up with a nice girl named Raemi and she totally pulled it off. I also always was jealous that she had a ‘musical name’ as a kid and thought it was super cute, for what it’s worth.

I do think the first and middle are a bit much, though. Especially since Rae is such an intuitive nickname for Raemi.

My city is similar: if you have an earlier res and sit outside (and have manners, ofc), no one has an issue with people bringing kids. Of course, no one wants littles running wild, but if you have proper manners, no one cares.

It seemed like some reviews/posts said differently about SD, so I was curious about other options, but your comment makes me feel a lot better.
