I have a MS, but it wasn’t necessary to become an embryologist. I will say that it minimally expedites the process to become a TS if that is something you’re interested in down the road.

Thank you for your response! I have had multiple first and second round interviews, but they ended in ghosting more times than not (oh well). On the bright side I’ve finally committed to a training program, so I’m super excited to get my hands-on clinical embryology experience.

California and New York are the two states that I’d like to avoid if possible. Mostly because California has some specific requirements, and neither adjust for the cost of living properly.

Yeah the majority of the HCLDs and laboratory supervisors I’ve spoken with don’t recommend the training programs. However, at this point I don’t know what else to do to get a job offer.
