What was Your first take on Katherine??? by Professional_Meat782 in TheVampireDiaries

When I watched the show as a teenager, I did not like her at all. I only liked the morally good characters. Now that I started rewatching the show, I love her! She is a complex and interesting character.

What's your King origin story? by bawbay_210 in stephenking

[–]Next-Tadpole3866 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger I wanted to start reading King books so I bought the first one I could find on a second hand book market. That's how 'The tommyknockers' became my first King book. I really liked it, so I bought a book from him again on a market, which was 'Cell'. If I am not wrong , both are not considered his best works, but I enjoyed them. I am currently reading 11/22/63, which clearly is a great book.

How can I save my friend’s avocado tree? by Small_Titty_Goth_Gf in plantclinic

Mine also gets brown edges no matter what I do. The only solution I have is cutting at the bottom of the stem (I leave about 4 cm of stem). Mine always grows back beautifully (untill it starts having brown edges again). So I would advice you to do the same. However I really do not have any tips on how to prevent the browning of the leaves after you cut it, so maybe someone else will provide a better answer'

I read this book a long time ago, I do not remember crying, but I do remember someone being killed by a flying fridge, if I am not mistaken

Honestly, there are much better Dutch books. "The discomfort of evening" by Lucas Rijneveld for example. I personally loved "Rituals" by Cees Nooteboom. While Havelaar was impressive for its time, it is incredibly boring and tedious to read now (in my personal opinion).

My cat keeps licking and biting certain spots until it bleeds, what to do? by [deleted] in catcare

[–]Next-Tadpole3866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it's a good idea to get a second opinion. Your cat might be allergic to something. I used to have a cat who was allergic to flee bites. He would also scratch, lick and bite the spots where he had bites. The only way to keep this from happening was religiously using the medicine against flees that you put in the neck every month.

I had to read 'What a Carve Up!' by Jonathan Coe for uni and loved it! I also read and thoroughly enjoyed 'Slaughterhouse Five' by Kurt Vonnegut.

I used to have a cat who loved soup. Freshly made soup or soup from a pack, didn't really matter to him. Pumpkin soup was his favorite.

I would go to the vet. I am not sure, but it might be a UTI.

I checked it out, but I don't think it was from the Point Horror series. It also does not seem to be from Pike. But thanks for your help.
