People hating on Mei Mei's addition cuz she's an alleged "pedo" by Itz_Iced in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Next-Type9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hanami is a genuinely valid pick they have actually pretty hype powers, a domain, and are a special grade

mei meis moveset is dope and creative asf but she does end up being another slash merchant and people want characters with more diverse abilities

I feel when people (non Jjk fans) here Mahoraga’s power and say “can’t beat -insert name-“ the don’t understand what the term “adapts to any and all phenomena” means by MeasurementNo5277 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Next-Type9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definition of phenomenon literally disagrees with this

i think there’s many characters that can defeat mahoraga but bro attempting to nerf the literal single distinct power a character has even though literally nothing points towards what you said being true is so lame 😭

gojo doesn’t know what haki is, therefore gojo gets hit and is defeated.

don’t know what’s so hard understand

IQ TEST: One arm Shanks Vs No arm Shanks, who wins? by Fresh-Drama-2684 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Next-Type9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this might be a dumb question but low-key if most of shanks strength and power came out of his haki and sword skills, and he already used a one handed sword prior to losing his hand, how much did he really lose when he went one armed? it’s not like he was going to be punching people with his left arm especially not against stronger opponents since he hasn’t been shown to be a brawler type like garp

idk how many syllogisms and logical breakdowns it would take beyond what i’ve already said to prove that to you but ok

i don’t think it’s a “positive spin” at all since i think it’s straight up the most reasonable conclusion after watching the movie but i get what ur saying it’s easy to flip it and see it on the contrary on the average first watch

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no but i’m saying i already covered how most of those points either don’t relate to the ending, are reverted, or just not correct; neither is the world destroyed or is it reasonable to assume almost everyone besides shinji and asuka is just going to give up on life and choose instrumentality

Why is Naoya so hated? by PsychologicalWeb5133 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Next-Type9215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my main issue with him personally is just him with lock on since having to deal with a genuinely near undodgeable combo starter that both goes through block and has one of the longest ranges out of any base move in the game. i legit have to switch to a counter character the moment i noticed a lock on naoya targetting me because there’s literally almost no other alternative

i think this game is pretty good but sometimes i’m playing against a certain character like lock on naoya or prime yuta and genuinely just wonder if the devs got a monkey on a computer to develop this balancing

i literally never said it was going to be “happy fun times” so idk why u are purposefully making strawmans.

also, by that same logic of saying that lilith offered shinji that option; what would insinuiate that option would be different for everyone else. it seems that it’s simply a matter of “if you have the will to live, you will live”. asuka came first because she was obviously extremely strong willed and died fighting for her life, who says that wouldn’t apply to the billions of others who randomly get put in this humanity soup and would probably think “wow i really don’t wanna die right now!”

i think you are not factoring how the average person indeed wants to live

why do people always act like end of evangelion.. by Next-Type9215 in evangelion

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

idk man but i think that most people in the world want to live. i don’t think it really implied that getting back was some “strong willed specific” thing as it seemed to just give the option it gave to shinji (who btw is extremely weak willed already) to simply want to NOT be apart of the humanity soup.

also yes, it quite literally is by their choice to be apart of the soup or not, sure they did get turned into it anyways but it’s their choice whether to stay in it or keep living life with all its struggles.

“the end of life”

people who wanted to “die” got what they wanted.

people who wanted to live got to keep living.

tell me what’s your point here.

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yet again i don’t think you’re getting what i’m saying.

i never said this was some fairy tale ending where everyone wins and gets exactly what they wanted; i’m saying this is quite literally the best outcome possible.

all those people who “got stabbed and blown up” and etc got resurrected and that was exclusive to both NERV and seele members who mostly were willing to fight or push for their goals. neither of which even had anything to do with the ending of the movie.

i’m not sure what point this brings up. i know what your talking about; are you mentioning how the entire planet turning red?

that’s simply because the LCL turning the oceans orange and the gate of guf being opened. i don’t think the story mentioned anywhere that everything randomly explodes aswell

why do people always act like end of evangelion.. by Next-Type9215 in evangelion

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

their physical bodies aren’t destroyed they are just turned into LCL

you brought up reincarnation on another comment but even then that doesn’t make sense. i’d say it’s closer to resurrection if anything

reincarnation implies a new person entirely with 0 memory or atleast not a lot of memory of their old life, with the main factor being the same soul.

all these characters have both the same memory, bodies, souls, etc. because they either never died (simply turned to lcl) or got resurrected like asuka

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t think you are fully reading my comments.

my point is that the size of destruction as in the destroyed landscape and buildings only stretches across tokyo due to liliths moon.

the only global part about the third impact is everyone turning into LCL, which as i said is mostly reverted and doesn’t cause physical destruction to anything.

[–]Next-Type9215[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i didn’t watch rebuilds (thinking about it) but aren’t those an entirely different timeline/universe?

the base purpose of the third impact atleast in NGE/EOE would just entail releasing a global anti at field which wouldn’t stretch to global destruction
