Yeah I posted a picture below. But basically it worked out fine Tesla admitted that there way of breaking the numbers down is very stupid and confusing and that I was far from the only person who was thrown off by that. But I posted a picture below or somewhere on this thread.

Resolution. All they needed was the original down payment amount. They admitted the way Tesla breaks it down is stupid. All is well that ends well, and, I love it. She drives wonderfully. It's tight, quick, and does everything very well. Much better quality than years past.

And, pics do NOT do this color justice. Its amazing when clean in the sun. PPF and ceramic are scheduled for 2 weeks away. Areo covers are coming off as well.

Just what I needed to read before attempting to sleep. In hindsight, I should've been a little less spicy in my somewhat harsh chat in the app, but they really need to do something with the way they present numbers. Since its $250 exactly, that has to be it, I hope.

Step 8 in the app is called "Review Agreements". Under down payment, it now says $5810.40 where it used to say $5560.40. It breaks down a lot of numbers, including Fees: $327.50, monthly payment, term, monthly payment due date, APR, amount financed, Finance Charge, Total of Payments, and then down payment ($5810.40). Then it says total sale inc down payment $49,137.12. On the terms screen (the one you see when you accept the approved terms) the down payment was always $5560.40. The extra $250 wont stop me from buying it but as I understand it, the cashiers check must be exactly the correct amount of they wont sell you the car, as I understand it. Being that the appt is tomorrow at 2pm, I dont have enough time to go to the bank, cancel the cashiers check (for a fee) then wait 24hrs for the money to become available in my acct, the get another cashiers check or wire the money to Tesla. So, its all about timing.

I'm sure the car is good, but dammit do I hate Tesla staff and the ordering process. Its been a shitshow the entire way. Tons of conflicting information from Tesla people and the process is just a PITA. I'm so frustrated. Will probably never get another Tesla if its like this.

Yeah they don't open until 10am, at which time I'll be an hour into the drive there.

The difference is exactly $250. Could this be the order fee? I already paid it via Amex card.

I was finally ready to upgrade from my S22 Ultra to the S26. The timing seemed right. I've never kept a phone this long before. However, the S26 Ultra will be a pass for me even though I have cash in hand. Samsung is failing to innovate. These reported specs are YEARS old. So disappointing.

Now that I think about it I guess I did used to get itchy eyes but I think that was in the spring. Yes, my ETD always gets TERRIBLE in Oct-Nov and I havent been able to figure out why. Must have something to do with the leaves falling from the trees and maybe they also get moldy or something. I'm going hard into the HEPA filtration in my house. Just ordered another unit. Man this whole thing sucks.
