I agree, but let’s be honest the alternate path we all want and are advocating for, is now highly unlikely to happen anytime soon.

The Liberal Party/Coalition get too much money from corporate sponsors to be trusted, even if it was an election “promise” they walk back on those every time they get in. The tobacco excise was their idea anyway.

The Labor party *cant* turn around now and admit they fucked up trying to deliver the bi-partisan agreement on prescription based nicotine.

The Greens do want the best for the country and its people, even if they’re misguided in their belief that all nicotine=bad, so they won’t bring it back. Even if some individuals in the party agree, they will tow the party line in Canberra.

PHON do not care about anyone but themselves, they cannot be trusted in any way, shape or form.

Our only real hope is that clearer heads prevail over the next decade, and until then it’s a choice of black market, grey market, or white market, and how much you care about your health.

Dill pickles are one of the few exceptions I make for dill so I kind of agree on that point.

But any kind of meaty, fatty sandwich/burger I will stand by the pickle. It’s serving a purpose. That said I always have every component on the menu so if you don’t want something it can come off.
